[H]ard|OCP - ATI Radeon X1900 Series Evaluation
Until now, we haven’t had a single video card that was able to run F.E.A.R. smoothly at 1600x1200 with 2X AA. Well, the X1900 XT and XTX can not only run it at that resolution, but they can also run it with Adaptive AA and High Quality AF enabled to boot.
-------------
If you want the fastest performing video cards right now that provide the highest level of image quality in games, it doesn’t get any better than the Radeon X1900 XT and XTX. You get High Quality AF, Adaptive AA, HDR with AA, and very fast shader performance. If you have been waiting to play F.E.A.R. at very high quality settings, your wait is over; the Radeon X1900 XT/XTX is the card for you.

Some suffix is possible, natch
G71 is Nvidia's first serious 90 nanometre chip that is supposed to fight and according to win over the R580, Radeon X1900 XTX. As far as we are aware, it is still not quite ready and is not launched either.
We will keep our eyes skinned, but unless Nvidia suddenly doesn't go through a change of heart the chip should be named the Geforce 7900.

Creative Fatal1ty 1010 Mouse
"This is a good gaming mouse at a pretty reasonable price, but it's far from the best we've seen. It seems tailor made for a particular gaming genre and style, and while that may suit some gamers, it's not for everyone. You've got to spend some real time with it before it becomes natural and comfortable. The software covers all the basics, but doesn't really offer any advanced functionality. We feel much more comfortable suggesting Logitech's G5 Laser Optical Mouse to the average gamer."

Celestia
Unlike most planetarium software, Celestia doesn't confine you to the surface of the Earth. You can travel throughout the solar system, to any of over 100,000 stars, or even beyond the galaxy.
All movement in Celestia is seamless; the exponential zoom feature lets you explore space across a huge range of scales, from galaxy clusters down to spacecraft only a few meters across. A 'point-and-goto' interface makes it simple to navigate through the universe to the object you want to visit.
Celestia is expandable. Celestia comes with a large catalog of stars, galaxies, planets, moons, asteroids, comets, and spacecraft. If that's not enough, you can download dozens of easy to install add-ons with more objects.

The making of: Dust & Dust2
To this day I am still amazed that such a simple map could go as far as it has, but a lot of people have helped along the way from Jess Cliffe and Chris Ashton at the very beginning, through to Brian Martel, Richard Gray, Kristen Perry, Ido Magal, and a whole plethora of other behind-the-scenes workers. I haven't touched the map for several years now, and it keeps marching on.
At any point in time, Dust 2 is host to around 30,000 players, around 15% of all online gamers (source). Combined with the original Dust, this accounts 20% - 1 in 5 of all players currently playing any online FPS.
