i-RAM is the fastest storage device you have ever imagined !
Through GIGABYTE's custom intelligent controller, i-RAM acts like a regular SATA hard drive at theoretically 1.5Gb/s data transfer rate. By utilizing conventional DDR memory modules, i-RAM is outfitted with four 184-pin DIMM slots that will accept any DDR DIMM and support up to 4GB unbuffered / non-ECC memory.

Gamasutra - Japanese Sales Charts, Week Ending December 18
The Xbox 360?s second week on the charts, though, has been even more disappointing than the first, with the console, showing 8,623 units sold, failing to outsell even the GameCube. This is a performance so far in Japan beneath even the low standards of the original Xbox?s launch - in large part thanks to the continued non-appearance of Dead or Alive 4 or any other prominent Japanese-developed titles.

Call of Duty 2 optimise Dual-core/HT via un patch

VALVE UNVEILS 64-BIT SOURCE? GAMING TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPED IN CONJUNCTION WITH AMD
Voici le message que j'ai avec mon STEAM ce matin:
"Available Now: 64-Bit Half-Life® 2 and Lost Coast™
For those of you running with a 64-bit capable AMD® processor, along with the Windows® 64-bit operating system, Half-Life 2 and Lost Coast are now available in native 64-bit versions. Steam will automatically detect your OS and run the appropriate version the next time you run these games.
We've been working with AMD to get the Source™ engine up and running in 64-bit mode to make sure we're taking advantage of these hardware configurations. This is just a first step for Valve into 64-bit. Going forward, we realize that more and more of our customers will be running with 64-bit processors and we will be set to take true advantage of them."

My display is better than yours - X360 on a Sony 4K projector...
Of course we had to see what an Xbox 360 would be like on a 35ft theater screen lit by a Sony SRX-R110 "4K" digital cinema projector. The projector is 10,000 ANSI lumens and has a native resolution of 4096x2160 on each of the 3 SXRD (LCOS) panels. Close to life size while playing.

iPod's Popular Earbuds: Hip Or Harmful?
The solution, according to Garstecki, is the 60 percent/60 minute rule. He and other hearing specialists recommend using the MP3 devices, including iPods, for no more than about an hour a day and at levels below 60 percent of maximum volume. ?If music listeners are willing to turn the volume down further still and use different headphones, they can increase the amount of time that they can safely listen,? Garstecki added.

Why AMD-MHz don't equal Intel-MHz
Ever make this off-the-cuff comment? "AMD is only clocked at 2.8GHz, while Intel is at 4.0GHz! Intel is much faster." Learn why it's not such a good idea to say that in the company of those who know.

Can it be called art? In the FAQ on their website, they state, "This project only exists for the sole purpose of providing satisfaction to people who hate the Xbox, or just like seeing the reaction of the people who just spend a day in line to get their hands on one of these consoles."
