DSO Exploit Explained

--
The bottom line: If you applied Microsoft's March 28, 2002 Internet Explorer Security Update or any subsequent cumulative security updates, you can safely ignore Spybot's report of a "DSO Exploit". If it is detected, don't bother trying to fix it. If it the only thing detected, ignore it. If "DSO Exploit" is detected along with other problems, uncheck (un-select) the "DSO Exploit(s)" before doing a "Fix selected problems".

To keep Spybot from reporting "DSO Exploit" you can go into Spybot > Mode > Advanced mode > Settings > Ignore products > click the Security tab > check DSO Exploit.
